Hein was a political, parliamentary and financial journalist for Nasionale Pers before becoming a Johannesburg City Councillor. He was deputy chairman of its budget committee and Town planning Tribunal as well as the Central Witwatersrand Regional Services Council.

Hein has more than 33 years’ experience in financial markets, working with various firms on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). He gained his expertise as property developer, political analyst, equities, futures and bonds trader as well as money market and equities portfolio manager.

He founded Kruger International in 2000. He specializes in asset allocation analysis and portfolio construction for high net worth private clients, managing equity and unit trust portfolios based on process driven strategy, rather than commission. He is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Southern Africa since 1990.

He enjoys sailing and running. He ran the Comrades Marathon on twenty occasions.

Mia received her Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2013. She was a mentor in the CFA Institute’s Global University Challenge for postgraduates, teaching comprehensive analysis of listed companies for three consecutive years. Mia has more than 16 years’ experience in financial markets, equity research, portfolio construction and fund management and is a member of the Investment Committee at Kruger International. She joined Kruger International in 2007.

Mia is a member of the CFA Institute and the Investment Analysts Society of Southern Africa.

Mia enjoys travelling, sailing, mountain biking, swimming and running. She has completed the Comrades Marathon and participated in numerous Ironman 70.3 events.

Andries joined Kruger International in 2009 and has more than 14 years’ experience in financial planning. While working as an audit clerk, he developed an interest in personal tax. Andries has a passion for helping clients understand their current financial position, offering detailed solutions where clients are trying to make sound investments or are encountering life events, such as retrenchments or retirements, following the processes developed by Kruger International over time.

He is a member of the Financial Planning Institute (FPI) and a member and Master Tax Practitioner (SA)™ of the South African Institute of Tax Professionals (SAIT).

Andries enjoys the outdoors, especially fresh- and saltwater fishing and hunting.

Boela joined Kruger International in 2018 after playing 14 years of professional rugby.
He always took great care of managing his own finances during his rugby career, and soon developed a passion for the investment world.  He felt the need to help educate his rugby colleagues in taking responsibility of their finances, and to optimize their savings during their short rugby career.  Boela enjoys building new client relationships.

During the 8 years spent in France, Boela developed a love for traveling. He also feels that there is nothing better than a South African braai and watching sport with friends.

Carlie joined Kruger International in September 2023. After completing her studies, Carlie started her career as an equity trader where her love for the markets and investments were born. Carlie is passionate about financial planning and believes that by educating and coaching clients, she can play a crucial role to help them make informed decisions about their financial future to grow and protect their wealth.

Amanda joined Kruger International in 2018 with more than 43 years’ experience in a financial accounting environment. She was an accountant for various sections within the financial department of an international company.  She currently works alongside Wealth Managers providing tax and client administration services. Amanda enjoys a challenge and has developed an interest in personal tax. 

She enjoys music and plays the organ at her local church.  Amanda has completed various courses in children’s ministry and has trained candidate teachers through the years.

Neeltjè joined Kruger International in January 2021. She gained experience in office administration and client service relations in a career with Sasol II, Sasol Ltd and AngloGold Health Services.

Before joining Kruger International, she had been involved in numerous fundraiser projects for non-profit organisations and other charities in her community.

Her personal motto is to strive for excellence in everything. Neeltjè enjoys spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts and has a passion for interior design.

Susan has acquired 50 years of experience in the financial services industry. This includes 32 years in stockbroking and asset management administration.

She worked with BOE Stockbroking from 1987 to 2000 as Financial Accountant. She became Operations Manager at BOE Asset Management. She then joined
Old Mutual Asset Management and later Curo Fund Services as Corporate Event Specialist

Anthonie spent more than 6 years as a portfolio manager with specific focus in managing fixed income portfolios, managing various funds such as the Ci Diversified Income Fund, Sygnia Passive Bond Fund and Sygnia Money Market Fund.
Prior to joining Kruger International in August 2023, he spent 4 years at Analytics Consulting as head of fixed income and 4 years at Sygnia Asset Management, where he held portfolio manager and analyst roles.
Anthonie is a member of the CFA Institute, the CAIA Association and the Investment Analysts Society of Southern Africa.
Anthonie enjoys reading non-fiction books and spending time with his wife and two lively Dalmations.

Bernard spent more than 10 years as an institutional investment consultant at various consulting teams (Absa, Old Mutual and SEI). He advised large corporations and state-owned enterprises on asset allocation policies and fund selection for their respective retirement funds.

Prior to joining Kruger International in June 2023, he spent 8 years at Analytics Consulting as head of investments and 4 years at Stonehage Fleming & Partners where, as a director, he was responsible for investment strategy and research for their South African ultra-high net worth client base. Bernard is a member of the CFA Institute and the Investment Analysts Society of Southern Africa.

Bernard enjoys a braai and spending time with his two daughters and their dogs.

BSc Financial & Actuarial Sciences (University of Pretoria), TASSA (Actuarial Society of South Africa)

Henco completed his articles at Alexander Forbes Consultants & Actuaries. He is a member in good standing of the Actuarial Society of South Africa since 2009 and received his TASSA designation in 2018. He also holds a Diploma in Insolvency Law. The CIPC licenced him as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2013. He has successfully led several formal Business Turnarounds creating and protecting value for all stakeholders. Previously he worked as Actuarial Analyst at Alexander Forbes and Quantitative Analyst at Standard Bank where after he employed his skills within the Business Turnaround space where he enjoyed many opportunities to use the skills acquired over the length of his career to aid companies in finding their success. To this end, he has been an active member in the Turnaround Management space and has overseen several key assignments where companies have been able to return to profitability.

After hours, Henco lives his passion for radio, people, business, and financial journalism as a presenter on radio stations SAfm and RSG. He also hosts RSG Kuns Met Kontant which covers how South African celebrities go about their finances. As is evident from the highly successful four seasons of RSG Kuns Met Kontant comprising 50 episodes to date, Henco’s heart-warming approach to people leads to an instant and authentic rapport. He is a public speaker, facilitator and media commentator under the registered trademark and social media handle affectionately given to him by radio listeners, namely Henco met ‘n c / Henco with a c.

Dries joined Kruger International in 2011 with more than 15 years’ experience in sales and general management amongst others, in long-term insurance and investments with Old Mutual and the FMCG industry with Continental Oil Mills Pty (Ltd) as National Sales Manager.

He began his career in mechanical engineering and achieved his National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Management Diploma from Henley in London UK and took part in the MBA programme for senior and executive management.

He is an experienced Wealth Manager, committed and passionate about building relationships that brings financial change for the better.

He enjoys family life, the outdoors, swimming and loves flying power kites.
